Change the password for the Hotmail account

As of Windows 8 , the Hotmail address can also be used as a Microsoft account for access to Windows. If you still can log in and change the password on Hotmail for security reasons only, follow these steps:

1. Opens the login page for the account .
2. Log in.
3. In the top right-hand corner, next to the account name, click "Account Settings" to access the options for account management.
4. Here you can find the section "Password" on the left.
5. Click on " Change password" .
6. Enter the old and a new password in the corresponding field. The new password must be entered twice for security reasons .
7. Saves the entries to successfully change the password in Hotmail.
